This policy covers what data Hoodly collects when you request a site-intelligence report, how it's used, and how to remove it.
When you submit a corner for a report, we collect:
We do not collect your name, your phone number, or any browsing behaviour outside the report request, and we do not build a profile of you.
One honest caveat about IP addresses: like any website, requests reach our host with an IP address attached, and Vercel records it in short-lived server and security logs it keeps on our behalf. We don't store it in our own order log, don't link it to your email, and don't use it to identify or track you.
Your email is used to deliver the PDF report and, if you reply, to respond to your question. We may aggregate addresses to count "operators served" or similar high-level metrics, but never in a way that identifies individuals.

Each of these has its own privacy practices and processes data under standard data-processing agreements.
Hoodly is operated from Ontario, Canada, but the processors above operate servers outside Canada, principally in the United States. That means your email address, the coordinates you submitted and the order record may be stored or processed outside Canada, and while there, may be accessible to foreign courts, law enforcement and regulators under the laws of that country. By using Hoodly you consent to that transfer. If you would rather not have your data leave Canada, don't submit a report request — the map itself works without giving us anything.
We handle personal information under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). We collect only what we need to deliver a report you asked for and to keep the records we're required to keep, and we rely on your consent — given when you submit the request — for that use. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us, subject to any legal or accounting record-keeping we're obliged to complete. If you're in the UK or the EEA, we act as controller for the limited data listed above and you have the equivalent rights of access, correction, erasure and objection; the same email address reaches us.
If personal information we hold is lost or accessed without authorisation in a way that creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will report it to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and notify you directly, as PIPEDA requires, and we will keep a record of the incident.

Hoodly itself sets no cookies on hoodly.space. The map and the report-generation functions use only short-lived in-memory state. Note that Stripe's hosted checkout page, which you are sent to when you pay, sets its own cookies under Stripe's privacy policy — that page is Stripe's, not ours.
We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies, fingerprinting, or persistent identifiers. It records anonymous page-view counts only.
If we change anything material, the "Last updated" date above will change. For substantive changes (new processors, new data categories) we'll note them in a banner on the homepage for at least 30 days.
