This policy covers what data Hoodly collects when you request a site-intelligence report, how it's used, and how to remove it.
What we collect
When you submit a corner for a report, we collect:
- Your email address — to send the PDF.
- The latitude and longitude of the corner you picked.
- The address label (reverse-geocoded from those coordinates).
- The timestamp of your request and a unique report reference ID.
- The PDF we generated for you, retained for ~90 days so we can re-send it on request.
We do not collect: your name, phone number, IP address persistently, or any browsing behaviour outside of the report request.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your email address to anyone.
- We don't enrol you in a mailing list or marketing automation.
- We don't use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
- We don't share individual report data with third parties for their own purposes.
How your email is used
Your email is used to deliver the PDF report and, if you reply, to respond to your question. We may aggregate addresses to count "operators served" or similar high-level metrics, but never in a way that identifies individuals.
Third-party processors
To deliver the service, we use:
- Vercel — hosts the website and report generation function.
- Resend — sends the email containing your PDF.
- OpenRouter / DeepSeek — generates the analyst-prose section of the report. Only the computed signals (numbers, neighbourhood profile) are sent; your email is never included.
- Stripe — processes payment if and when you purchase a report (currently free beta).
- Supabase — stores the order log so we can support re-runs and re-sends if a report needs to be regenerated.
Each of these has its own privacy practices and processes data under standard data-processing agreements.
Data retention
- Order log (email, coordinates, timestamp, report ref): kept for 24 months for support and accounting, then deleted.
- Generated PDFs: kept on Vercel Blob for 90 days, then automatically deleted.
- Email transcripts on Resend: subject to Resend's retention policy (currently 90 days for sent messages).
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Show you what data we hold on you.
- Delete your email and order history from our log immediately.
- Correct any data you think is wrong.
Email frank@feepfoop.com with the request. We typically respond within a few business days.
Cookies
Hoodly does not set cookies. The map and report-generation function use only short-lived in-memory state.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies, fingerprinting, or persistent identifiers. It records anonymous page-view counts only.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything material, the "Last updated" date above will change. For substantive changes (new processors, new data categories) we'll note them in a banner on the homepage for at least 30 days.
